A large part of the home has been thoughtfully purpose built over the past few years. The home provides several lounges and quiet sitting areas and two dining areas. All bedrooms are decorated to the highest standards and some have en-suite facilities.
All our bedrooms, lounges, dining rooms, bathrooms and toilets have a nurse call point fitted and TV points are found in every bedroom. Private telephone lines may be fitted by arrangement.
Albany House is a real home to call home.

Care
The care that we offer is entirely focused on the careful evaluation of a resident’s changing needs. We do this through a comprehensive set of assessments which are carried out prior to admission. These assessments allow us to ensure that Albany can continually meet both our residents’ needs and improve their quality of life.An individually tailored, detailed plan of how care will be delivered is agreed at the outset and reviewed regularly with the resident, ensuring understanding and inspiring confidence.
The key worker scheme is highly effective, our experience is that carers gain a greater understanding of a specific individual and are thus able to notice deteriorations or improvements in the residents' well being. Better understanding means that care can remain discreet and the level of support adjusted according to need.
